ViaCHN works in tandem with our sister web planning portal, ChinaTripTop.com. While the ViaCHN mobile app is your native, offline-first ground survival toolkit, ChinaTripTop.com is the pre-travel planning hub. All user configurations and dietary binders linked to your account are created on the website. You can visit ChinaTripTop.com directly to manage configs, download offline guide books, or read travel tips.

By using the ViaCHN mobile application, you acknowledge that while we strive for 100% accuracy, travel policies in China (visas, payments, navigation, transit) change rapidly. Our content and features are provided for informational and convenience purposes only. Verification of current laws, requirements, and food safety with official sources or local staff remains the ultimate responsibility of the traveler.

We take a strictly minimal approach to your personal information: • Authentication & User Profile: We use Supabase Auth to securely manage your account login (email/password or social sign-ins). Please note that because our authentication service is hosted by Supabase, account verification and password reset emails are sent via Supabase and contain links pointing to the supabase.co domain. • 1:1 Config Binding: When you scan a QR code to personalize your app, your unique config ID is bound to your account. This is checked server-side to prevent unauthorized sharing of premium customized guides. • Camera Data: The AI Dietary Scanner requires camera access to capture food packaging or labels. The scanner is stateless: images are sent directly to the vision AI models for extraction and are not stored permanently on our servers. • Feedback Data: If you choose to submit feedback, we collect your name, category, and message to improve our services.

We utilize React Native AsyncStorage and device storage to save downloaded guidebooks, customized dietary cards, and your profile configuration locally. This data remains on your physical device, ensuring full offline functionality. You may clear this local cache by logging out of the app.

All premium features, purchases, and subscriptions are managed securely via native App Store (Apple App Store / Google Play Store) billing processes. ViaCHN does not store or process your financial card credentials locally or on our servers.
